Lenora is a survivor who in spite of life’s challenges she persevered to reach her goals. IN spite of her medical setbacks, by the Grace of God Lenora continues to shine while God continues to show her the purpose of her Life.

- She is a Myasthenia Gravis Survivor
- Lenora is a published author- “The Mirrored Image of Me” A Physical and Spiritual Journey with Chronic Illness
- She is the mother of twins and a retired nurse
- She also designs jewelry, t-shirts, and home decor
Her favorite quote inspirational quote is:
“Strength of character isn’t about how much you can handle before you break. It’s about how much you can handle after broken.”
How Lenora practices self-care:
She has created a “me time” ritual called Music Therapy. During this time, Lenora infuses herself with her favorite music from a playlist she has created. Her music ranges from Chaka Kahn to Nina Simone. She also listens to music through her wireless headphones during all of her daily activities. This creates a serene time, and a place where if only for a moment, she can remove her mind from unpleasant situations. I
Lenora has an inspirational YouTube channel, The Morning Talk with Lenora, where she shares her self-care practices as well as her struggles with her chronic illness and also inspirational messages. She also operates The Queen Melanin Black Tee Shop which features empowering T-shirts and other products as well.
